What does GEOLOGISMI mean?

I strive to speak a material language using words made out of earth and clay.

That's why I named my studio after this weird term, geologism. For me it means exactly earthy word (I even ventured an etymology: from the Greek geo- “earth, land” + logos “word” + -ismos noun ending signifying “the practice of something”.)

Geologisms are material objects that tell their story with their own voice.

Awed by an ancient world where geological phenomena take place at a time scale beyond our comprehension, I create objects inspired by landscape and gestures, science and history, daily rituals and material narratives.
