Design
The quest for material truth and simple forms guides my design approach.
As we always attribute meanings to materials and products, I focus on materials perception, on the impact that these objects have on our daily lives, the feelings they rouse, and the conversations they start.
Materials speak to all our senses and have so much to tell us. When designing, I make space for the material voice and story. I aim at making objects that engage us in a sensory journey to discover natural textures, unique imperfections, subtle hues, unexpected sounds, and the special interaction between hand and matter.
